Where We Pray: Real Life Church puts its mission where its name is, joys & challenges of real life

FOREST PARK, Ohio - The Tri-State is rich in the number and variety of houses of worship. In our weekly feature, WCPO shines the spotlight on where we pray.

Real Life Church strives to be real and authentic in all it does, says Pastor Justin Swartwout. The church, which was just founded in 2002, has carved out a distinct niche for itself. “Real Life Church is unique because of the genuine love and acceptance of all who come through our doors. We are a diverse body of believers with one thing in common – our love for God and his people,” said Swartwout.

Real Life Church was established by Pastor Marty and Joyce Huff in Colerain Township. Backed by the Ohio Ministry Network, the Huffs grew the congregation at a few temporary locations, including the former movie theater on Colerain Avenue next to Northgate Mall.

WCPO Insiders can learn more about how Real Life Church got started and read why one member of the congregation appreciates the "real life" approach of its mission.
