CINCINNATI -- Does bierwurst sound good for lunch?
Then you're in luck because what could be one of the world's largest bierwurst is on display at Fountain Square on Monday.
Queen City Sausage unveiled the 200-foot sausage at 11:30 a.m.
Traditionally, bierwurst is made with partially cured pork, beef, heart, and bacon, then seasoned with mustard seeds, garlic and nutmeg, according to the German Food Guide .
The new bierwurst is made with other Cincinnati products including Hudepohl Amber Lager and Klosterman buns.
The event is free to the public and runs until 1:30 p.m.
