Coupled: On the first date he ate half of her food, she crooned the soundtrack of 'South Pacific'

LOVE CITY, USA - They are among the happiest milestones in our lives, so WCPO shares the joy of engagements, weddings and commitment ceremonies around the Tri-State.

Rebecca Riesterer, daughter of Timothy and Martha Riesterer of Castalia, Ohio, married Nicholas Grome, son of Joseph and the late Amy Grome of White Oak, Ohio on February 22, 2014.

Mrs. Grome, 28, is an account executive for Unitron Hearing. Mr. Grome, 31, is an account manager for Star Leasing. The pair met at a backyard BBQ that the groom hosted. His bride attended with a mutual friend and the two say it was love—and curiosity--at first sight.

“We both felt intrigued by each other,” said the bride.
