Tell us your story
9 News presents Ten Years Later: A CHANGED CITY?, an in-depth special project to engage the Tri-State in answering the question of where we are as a city, as a community and as individuals TEN years after the unrest in April of 2001. But we don't want to just represent the city from an investigative perspective, we want you to tell us directly.
Has the community changed?
We want your stories, your photos, your ideas and your input to answer the question of how the community has changed, as it relates to public safety, education, economic development, health, prosperity and jobs for all people.
What is your day-to-day LIFE like now? How has it changed over the years? What does the city need to do going forward? What are the problems that need fixing? How safe do you feel? How well represented do you think you are?
How you can help
Show us what your life has been like then and now, what it is you love about the city, AND what you find to be a problem.
What do you remember from 2001? How has it defined you?
Don't just tell us what's different, we want TO GET A TRUE SENSE of who you are, what you do everyday and what has shaped the community.
