CINCINNATI - "The Shoe" is about to get rocking as The Killers take the stage in Over-the-Rhine.
The nationally known band will play the first sold-out show at the Horseshoe Casino's outdoor concert space Thursday night.
The Killers are best known for their songs "Somebody Told Me," "Mr. Brightside" and "Miss Atomic Bomb." The band has been nominated for seven Grammy awards.
The concert will launch a 19-week concert series at the casino that includes Willie Nelson, Earth Wind & Fire, Billy Idol and more.
Officials said will call will open at 4 p.m. at the casino's main entrance near Reading Road and Eggleston Avenue.
The gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and opening act The Virgins will start at 7:30 p.m.
Free parking will be available at the casino's garage and public parking is also available nearby.
The show will go on rain or shine. However, people are prohibited from bringing chairs, blankets, bags, coolers and outside food and beverages to the venue.
