CINCINNATI—WCPO arts reporter Matt Peiken unravels the mystery of modern dance in this four-part online video series, "Time Stands Still—the making of /SHIFT/." The series documents the creative process of Cincinnati's MamLuft & Company Dance in the leadup to performances Feb. 21-22 at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.
In this first episode, we drop into the first day of discussions this past August between choreographer Jeanne Mam-Luft and her dancers as they lay out their perspectives of time and how they might translate in visible form.
