Kings Island hosts its 17th Pride Night Friday, benefiting the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Cincinnati, with rides, entertainment and live performances.
4. Old West Festival in Williamsburg
Live like John Wayne every weekend in September and the beginning of October with the Old West Festival, where some rambling countryside acreage is turned into an authentic Dodge City Wild West town, complete with puppet shows, antique storefronts, locomotive and wagon rides, beers at the saloon and more family-friendly fun.
5. Cincinnati Hispanic Festival
The Cincinnati Hispanic Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with a two-day celebration ripe with vibrant music, folkloric dance and traditional Hispanic foods aimed at widening the representation of various Hispanic/Latino communities throughout the area; it takes place at Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Carthage through Sunday
6. Peril in Space and Time Semantics Fundraiser
Brighton hosts an artsy “scavenger hunt” for its Peril in Space and Time exhibit, where spectators follow clues to locate a slew of standalone exhibitions throughout the neighborhood and end the night with live music at The Mockbee; it takes place beginning at Semantics Gallery in Brighton.

Farm Sanctuary hosts the two-mile Walk for Farm Animals Cincinnati to raise vital funds and increase awareness of the group’s mission to combat the abuses of factory farming and bring people together to change hearts and minds about the lives of farm animals; it takes place beginning at Music Hall Plaza at Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine.
8. Vinoklet Winery Art & Wine Festival
Vinoklet Winery’s 15th annual Art & Wine Festival is a weekend-long celebration of local art, entertainment and wine, including a grape-stopping competition and tastings of eight of the winery’s signature blends; it takes place through Sunday at Vinoklet Winery in Colerain.
