CINCINNATI - Mike Sarason was just a 16-year-old at Walnut Hills High School when he formed his ska-reggae-rock band, The Pinstripes.
Sarason has steered his band through varied lineups in the last decade managing to bring bring along a large swath of fans ready to move and groove with the band.
At the 2013 Bunbury Festival, WCPO's Matt Peiken spoke with Sarason about his musical influences, the band's creativity in recording and releasing short bursts of music and his aspirations beyond Cincinnati.
The Pinstripes next perform locally Aug. 14, at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center.
