Like most artists, Barbara Hauser has a day job, a pretty solid one at that—she works in communications for Procter & Gamble Co.
But photography is her passion.
Earlier this month, she launched a pop-up art gallery in Over-the-Rhine called the Red Door Project . She and handful of artist friends choose a theme each month, then open it up to any artist to create and contribute work on that theme for a one-night exhibition.
This video drops into the opening reception for the gallery, at an otherwise vacant 1232 Vine St., where 30 artists contributed work around the theme "cycle."
Visit the project's Facebook page and watch this promotional video for details about participating in the next Red Door Project theme: lost and found.
Submissions are between 11 am and 2 p.m. March 22 at 1232 Vine St.
The gallery, Hauser said, will likely move from space to vacant space until it finds a permanent home.
