Who says you need to go to Italy or France for delectable wine? Why not hop in your car and head to Northern Kentucky this Saturday to sample some vino made Bluegrass style. MainStrasse Village is hosting the sixth annual event, which will feature more than 15 wineries from around the state. Need a little more than just cheese with your wine? No problem. There will be a plethora of wine-friendly sustenance options from several local restaurants. This year the festival is partnering with Full Spectrum to help celebrate the work of local artists and crafters by showcasing their art. The festival runs 3-10 p.m., and admission is just $10, which includes four sample tickets and a souvenir wine glass. Additional sample tickets can be purchased for $1 each, or six for $5. If you're more of a wino or just happened to find the perfect wine for you, you may purchase special tickets for $5 that allow you to indulge in a full glass. Wines will also be available for purchase by bottle or case. Oh, and sorry you young'uns, you must be 21 or older to attend. Free parking is available in the Fifth Street Parking Lot, located between Philadelphia and Main streets.
