Sixteen local breweries featured at inaugural Ale to the Queen City! beer fest

CINCINNATI -- Sixteen local breweries will line Mehring Way Nov. 25-26 for the first Ale to the Queen City beer festival.

Those breweries include Blank Slate, Braxton, Christian Moerlein, Fifty West, MadTree, Mt. Carmel, Municipal Brew Works, Nine Giant, Old Firehouse, Rhinegeist, Rivertown, Sam Adams, Streetside, Taft's Ale House, Urban Artifact and Woodburn, according to the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.

The festival will feature more than 35 craft beers from those breweries,  Cynthia Oxley, the director of Ale to the Queen City, stated in a chamber press release. The beers will be announced soon, the release went on to state.

The Menus, Naked Karate Girls, Cherry on Top and Flip Cup All-Stars will perform live music at the festival, and local food will be sold on-site as well.

 It will take place from 4-11 p.m. each day on Merhing Way between Elm Street and the Roebling Bridge. 

Ale to the Queen City is part of Home, a new initiative to showcase Cincinnati’s food, drink, music, art and shopping options for those coming home for the Thanksgiving weekend.
