DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK!  The bottle share party I hosted back in the early summer featured a legendary beer lineup and I was constantly being asked about hosting another.

So I teamed up with the other local beer bloggers to set up an enhanced joint effort.  Here are the details for the party of year!

Date/Time/Location/Cost

Saturday, December 7
1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Firehouse Grill
Free to attend (see below about bringing beer) but space is limited – get “tickets” here: http://cincybeerbloggers.brownpapertickets.com

Charity

We decided to try and generate some good for the community as we come together to celebrate great beer.  There will be raffle at the party for prizes such as rare beers, brewery glassware/swag, and other beer related stuff.

All proceeds will be donated to the Child’s Play charity which provides video games (and systems) to sick children in the hospital for long periods of time.  Specifically, money collected will be directed to kids at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center here in our own backyard.

Please bring cash as you won’t want to miss out on some awesome prizes, and you know you want to help the kids!

How Bottle Share Parties Work

The idea is that everyone gets together to share their favorite beers.  That doesn’t mean you have to bring the most rare or expensive beer on earth, but rather you bring something you enjoy and that you think others will enjoy drinking too.

There is no charge for the event but we do ask that you bring a couple of bombers or three to four 12 oz. cans/bottles to share.  In addition to commercially available beers, feel free to bring some homebrew.

Firehouse Grill was kind enough to open up their private party room – so come hungry and make sure you tip the servers well!  There will be lots of delicious food available from the Firehouse Grill kitchen  and they have a killer craft beer lineup so you are free to purchase drinks from the bar.

Meet Brewers and Bloggers

This your chance to come physically assault us bloggers in person (kidding, please – no violence).  We have also invited all the local brewers and have heard back from a number of them already.

Come ask questions or just hang out and have a drink with us.
