CLEARCREEK TWP., Ohio — A new brewery is fermenting in Warren County.
The owners of Crafted Pints Brewing Co. have leased a barn on the grounds of Hidden Valley Fruit Farm at 5474 N. State Route 48, between Springboro and Lebanon.
Co-owner Jerrod Fisher told the Journal-News that he hopes to open a brewery there before the end of the year. He'll also sever as the lead brewer at the facility.
Plans call for producing a variety of beers and hard ciders, with the fruit and some hops cultivated at Hidden Valley orchards and farm fields, Fisher said.
Fisher said the initial plan is for the beverages to be sold in draft form in both the Dayton and Cincinnati markets. But the long-term plan includes canning and/or bottling the products for retail sale.
