A new service will bring delight to craft beer fans across the city. The Cincy Brew Bus started bringing Cincinnati brewery tours to a new level mid-January.
As a lifelong friend of owner Mike Stokes, I can promise your time spent on the bus will be enjoyable and laughter will be shared by all. He is one of the smartest, funniest, and passionate guys I know. Did I mention you will be stopping at breweries for beer?
Learn about Cincinnati’s deep brewing history and experience the resurgence currently underway. We live in an amazing beer city! Not only will you be supporting a man’s small business dream, you will be supporting our local small brewery businesses and food businesses.
Each tour will start at Fountain Square and depart from there. The tours will start at 12 p.m. The tour includes a ride to four breweries and back to Fountain Square. It also includes some samples of beer at each brewery. Time frame will be from 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Several of the breweries will have food or food trucks, and on the first or second stop some extra time will be taken to get a bite to eat.
In addition to these things, you will go on at least one full blown tour of a brewery, possibly two or three depending on time. Cans and plastic only on the bus, so leave the Growlers at home, unless you have one of those fancy Insulated metal ones.
Where it goes
1st and 3rd Saturday’s:
- Rock Bottom
- Fifty West
- Moerlein Tap Room
2nd and 4th Saturday’s:
- Moerlein Lager House
- Mad Tree
Drinking Ticket: $65.00 Per Person
Non Drinking Ticket: $30.00 per person
You will drink approximately four to five beer samples provided on the tour. You are not permitted to bring your own beer, however you can bring beer from the brewery’s on the bus as long as it is not transported in Glass. Pretzels and water will be provided On the Bus.
