CLEVELAND - "Dancing with the Stars" is throwing a new gimmick our way, and it should prove to be interesting.
It's being called "Len's Side-By-Side Challenge," in which judge Len Goodman wants the stars to perform the same exact dance next to one of the professionals. This means the stars will really have to up their game to look good next to the pros.
The star stress meter is probably in the red zone right now. Cue giddy laugh.
This also marks the return of bad boy pro Maks, who was not paired up with a star this season.
Maks and Anna will dance an Argentine tango side by side along with Disney star Zendaya and Maks's brother Val. On Saturday, Zendaya tweeted a picture: "two more days #perfectingthedance #beastmode http://mob.li/ _nIKif ."
NFL star Jacoby Jones and Karina will also get to faceoff against Maks and Anna for a jive.
Country singer Kellie Pickler and Derek will dance the same Viennese waltz next to Anna and troupe member Henry. A stressed-out Kellie tweeted, "CA to TN to AL to TN to CA again...in less than 48 hrs. My sleep schedule is whack. I look like one of those zombies on Walking Dead."
Boxer Victor Ortiz and Lindsay will also do a Viennese waltz, dancing side-by-side with Tristan and troupe member Emma.
Olympian Aly Raisman and Mark will dance a samba next to Tony and troupe member Whitney. Aly tweeted, "Woah can't believe tomorrow is already Monday!!! So excited to perform our Samba dance it's so much fun! Oh & I LOVE my costume too! #DWTS ."
Actor Andy Dick and Sharna will do a paso doble next to troupe members Emma and Sasha.
"Bachelor" Sean Lowe and Peta will do a quickstep side by side with Tristan and Chelsie. Sean tweeted, "The quickstep is quick! Dying today."
Last week, TV reality star Lisa Vanderpump was eliminated.
The new challenge kicks off Monday night at 8 on ABC. You can catch the pre-show online at: http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/dancing-with-the-stars/pre-show .
