Singer ROBIN THICKE has hit back after bosses at a British university banned his hit song BLURRED LINES.
On Saturday (02Nov13) officials at University College London's student union announced the track will not be played on campus or at student events, alleging its lyrics promote rape
However, Thicke has now spoken out to dismiss the suggestion and insist the song was written about his wife.
He tells the BBC the accusation the song promotes sex crimes is "ridiculous", adding, "I think the kids get it. I just have to deal with that. I wrote it about my wife. She's my good girl. And I know she wants it because we've been together 20 years."
