MICHAEL DOUGLAS' ex-wife DIANDRA DOUGLAS is facing allegations she owes authorities more than $1 million in unpaid taxes.
Diandra, who received a reported $45 million from the Wall Street star back in 2000, is said to owe America's Internal Revenue Service in excess of $1.2 million .
Editors at the New York Post's gossip column Page Six report authorities have filed a lien against her over the bill, which dates from 2007 through to 2009.
A source tells the publication the tax discrepancy is related to a property deal and that Diandra's accountants "expect this will be resolved in her favor".
The news comes just days after Douglas' current marriage problems became public knowledge. He recently separated from Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, but Douglas has since insisted the split is merely "temporary".
