CINCINNATI - The Storm Prediction Center has placed the Tri-State under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday.
The Tri-State was under Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings and a Flash Flood Warning Wednesday. Storms that prompted those watches and warnings produced a significant amount of lightning, heavy winds, hail and flooding.
Rich moisture over the Ohio Valley, heat and a slow approaching cold front to our north are likely to produce severe storms capable of more damaging winds and large hail.
Expect numerous clusters of strong to potentially severe thunderstorms to develop in this warm and unstable air mass.
