National Weather Service allows Areal Flood Watch for parts of Tri-State to expire

CINCINNATI - The flood risks in the Tri-State have expired.

An Areal Flood Watch was in effect for Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson counties in Kentucky as well as Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland and Hocking counties in Ohio. The Flood Watch will expire at 8 p.m. Monday.

A Flood Advisory was also in effect for Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Eastern and Pendelton counties in Kentucky as well as Butler and Hamilton counties in Ohio. The advisory is in effect through 9:45 a.m.

The National Weather Service had issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin and Greene counties in Ohio as well as Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne counties in Indiana. The watch expired at 8 a.m. Monday.
