MOSCOW, Ohio - Bengals players, coaches and staff provided some relief to volunteers in the village of Moscow on Friday.

The team arrived at noon ready to work. They helped in the cleanup efforts by removing debris from yards and doing whatever else they could a week after deadly tornadoes swept through the Tri-State.

Defensive back Leon Hall, linebacker Rey Maualuga, and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer were all in Moscow to help clean up.

Maualuga said he was impacted by the images he saw on TV.

"It's surreal," he said. "You see these things that happen on TV and it's something that you just don't take into effect because it hasn't happened to you, or hasn't happened around you."

Hall says while this is his time off, he felt the need to lend a helping hand.

"It could've been anybody," said Hall. "If it happened where I lived, I hope people would come over there and help just like what I'm doing here, and everybody else that is volunteering today."

The team also brought lunch for volunteers, serving Cincinnati favorites LaRosa's pizza and Gold Star chili.
