CINCINNATI - Severe weather took an aim on the Tri-State Thursday, two days after thousands were left in the dark because of storms.
Duke Energy braced for Thursday's storm by enforcing a detailed plan to prepare crews for severe weather which could include widespread outages, damaging wind, large hail and a relatively enhanced tornado risk.
At one point, more than 5,100 Duke Energy customers were without power. That number has been drastically reduced as of Friday afternoon.
