Severe Thunderstorm Watch ends for Tri-State

CINCINNATI - The National Weather Service has allowed a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Tri-State to expire.

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning from earlier in the day also expired.

The entire Tri-State was already under a moderate risk for severe weather. The last time our region was under a moderate risk like this one was on March 2 when deadly tornadoes ripped through the Tri-State.

The storms contained damaging winds, lightning and hail.
