CINCINNATI - A downtown roadway is open to traffic Wednesday morning after a water pipe burst, closing it to traffic Tuesday night.

A portion of Seventh Street downtown closed Tuesday evening due to frigid temperatures in the Tri-State, causing the pipe to burst. By Wednesday at 4 a.m., the road was reopened to traffic and covered in salt for commuters.

Crews closed the road Tuesday night from Elm and Race streets while crews worked to repair the pipe.
