Other roadways: Fourth oversize load to be hauled June 5 - 7-- Lebanon (Monday, June 4, 2012) - The transport of the fourth and final oversize load from Southside Avenue in Sedamsville, Hamilton County, to Yankee Road in Middletown, Butler County is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 5.

 

Transport of a cold box, measuring 146 feet in length, 18.5 feet in width, and 19 feet in height and weighing 425,800 lbs. gross weight, is expected to take three days beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m. each day.

The route is as follows: Hamilton County:

Depart Southside Avenue to west U.S. 50; north on Miami Avenue in North Bend; crossover at Cooper Road in Cleves; west to U.S. 50 in the eastbound lanes; north on State Route 128;

Butler County:

North on U.S. 27 entering from the U.S. 27 southbound off ramp to SR 128; north on U.S. 27; east on Stahlheber Road; north on Morman Road; east on SR 130; north on SR 177; east on SR 73; south on U.S. 127; east on SR 73; north on SR 4, entering SR 4 using the southbound exit ramp to SR 73; at top of ramp, crossover the median into north SR 4 lanes; east on 14th Avenue to Yankee Road and destination.

Other traffic information: PRINCETON ROAD TO GET UPGRADE-- Construction Begins June 4 Liberty Township

Butler County Engineer Greg Wilkens reports that Princeton Road in Liberty Township is slated for improvements beginning June 4. The vertical profile will be raised in a section between Ohio 747 and Van Gordon Road which will improve sight distance and allow the connection of Alana Place to Princeton Road, providing secondary access into the Reserves of Liberty subdivision. Additionally, a left turn lane to Alana Place will be added to westbound Princeton Road.
