President Obama landed at CVG at 11:15 a.m. before traveling north on his way to Cincinnati's Music Hall on Elm Street. Drivers were delayed as officials shut down northbound I-71/75 to Cincinnati.

President Obama's departure from the area also impacted traffic, but not in the middle of rush hour as was possible. Southbound I-71/75 from Cincinnati to I-275 and both directions of the Brent Spence Bridge were shut down just before 4 p.m. for the president's motorcade for around 15 minutes. No significant delays were reported.

An exact traffic plan of delays is never released by the Secret Service or local police for security reasons regarding the president.
