Friday's traffic delays

Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:

Interstate 75 in Ohio: Slow traffic-- SB south of Norwood Lateral.

Interstate 71 in Ohio: No reported accidents

Interstate 71/75 in Ky.: Slow traffic-- NB from I-275 to river.

Interstate 74 in Ohio/Ind.: No reported accidents

Interstate 275 in Ky.: No reported accidents

Interstate 471: Lane closures next week-- I-471 NB and SB – During the work Monday thru Friday beginning Oct. 1 – Oct. 12, the KYTC District 6 will be conducting a bridge inspection on I-471 North Bound and South bound over the Ohio River.

Crews will be working from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and lane closures will be in place. Motorist should be aware of lane closures, crews and equipment.

Columbia Parkway: No reported accidents

Other traffic information: Road Closures for the Komen Race for the Cure-- The race will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.

The 10K Run starts at 8:05 a.m., the 5K Walk begins at 9 a.m. and the 2K Walk begins at 9:30 a.m. To accommodate the race the following streets will close and remain closed until approximately 1 p.m.:

Friday Night, 9-28-12, 6 p.m.
Freedom Way- closed between Walnut Street and Joe Nuxhall Way
Joe Nuxhall Way- closed between Second Street and Mehring Way

Saturday, 9-29-12, 7 a.m.
Freedom Way- closed between Elm Street and Walnut Street
Race Street- closed between Second Street and Freedom Way
Rosa Parks Street- closed between Second Street and Suspension Bridge
Ramp LL (Ramp from Second Street to E Pete Rose Way) - closed
E Pete Rose Way- closed between Johnny Bench Way and Broadway

Mehring Way- closed between Central Avenue and E Pete Rose Way
Elm Street- closed between Second Street and Mehring Way
Walnut Street- closed between Second Street and Suspension Bridge

Eggleston Avenue- southbound closed between Third Street and E Pete Rose Way
