Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:

The St. Xavier Downtown Dash-- The run begins at 7 p.m. at St. Xavier Church on Sycamore Street.  In order to accommodate this run, the following streets will close or have restrictions on Friday, August 3 at 6PM, and remain closed or restricted until the run is complete and streets are determined safe to reopen (generally by 9PM):

-    Sycamore Street- closed between Eighth Street and Fifth Street
-    Sentinel Street- closed between Fifth Street and Eggleston
-    Eggleston Avenue-  northbound only closed between E Pete Rose Way and Reedy Street
-    Reedy Street- northbound only closed between Eggleston Avenue and Court Street
-    Court Street- eastbound only closed between Reedy Street and Gilbert Avenue
-    Gilbert Avenue-  closed between Broadway and Court Street; northbound only closed between Court Street and Eden Park Drive
-    Eden Park Drive- eastbound only closed between Gilbert Avenue and Art Museum Drive

Immediately following the run, Sycamore Street will remain closed between Seventh Street and Sixth Street for the St. Xavier Church Block Party until 12AM.

The Madison Road detour will change-- Beginning on Friday, Aug. 3, westbound traffic will shift from the far right lane to the far left lane between Ridge Road and Ibsen Avenue. Eastbound traffic will continue to detour around the construction.

Road closure-- Bridge work requires the closure of Morgan Road over Interstate 74 for 60 days.

As the Dry Fork Road overpass is closed until approximately 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, the detour for the Morgan Road closure is State Route 128 to Harrison Road. The detour for the Dry Fork Road closure is West Road to Harrison Road.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and bridge closures.

Lane closure in Boone County-- US 25 between Mt. Zion Road and Industrial Road (7.6 – 9.2 mile marker) – Beginning Aug. 1, 2012, a resurfacing project will begin on US 25 between KY 536 (Mt Zion Road) and KY 1829 (Industrial Road).

Crews will be working nighttime hours between 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Motorists should watch for lane closures, equipment and crews throughout the work zone.

Weather permitting, resurfacing project will be complete Saturday morning, Aug. 4, 2012.

Lane closure in Boone County-- KY 1017 ( Turfway Road) between South Airfield Road and Dolwick (1.8 – 3.7 mile maker) – Beginning Thursday night, Aug. 2, 2012, a resurfacing project will begin on KY 1017 ( Turfway Road) between South Airfield Road and Dolwic Road in Kenton County.

Crews will be working nighttime hours between 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Motorists should watch for lane closures, equipment and crews throughout the work zone. Weather permitting, resurfacing project will be complete by Aug. 10, 2012.

Other traffic information: Gas prices going up-- Motorists should be aware of the likelihood of rising gas prices in the next 48 hours in Cincinnati.

"I expect a majority of gas stations to have increased prices at least 10-35 cents per gallon by Friday evening with most stations starting to raise prices as early as Thursday morning when compared to today's prices. Some areas in Michigan and Indiana may flirt with $4/gallon," said Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst.
