Cincinnati traffic: Friday's delays

Below is a list of reported traffic incidents in the Tri-State area:

Interstate 75 in Ohio: Slow traffic-- SB from Norwood Lateral to I-74.

Interstate 71 in Ohio: Slow traffic-- SB from Mason-Montgomery Rd. to Norwood Lateral.

Interstate 71/75 in Ky.: Slow traffic-- NB from I-275 to river.

Interstate 74 in Ohio/Ind.: Slow traffic-- EB from Dent to I-75.

Interstate 275 in Ohio: No reported accidents

Interstate 471: Serious accident-- ramp from EB US 50 to SB I-471 closed right now.  Slow traffic-- NB from I-275 to river.

Columbia Parkway: No reported accidents

Other roadways: Christmas in Mason event-- The city of Mason has announced that U.S. 42 between Second Avenue and Mason-Montgomery Road will be closed to traffic Friday, Dec. 7.

The road will be closed from 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, Dec. 7 for the Christmas in Mason event.

Detours will be posted, but motorists can expect delays while traveling through the area.

Colerain Township will close part of Hughes Rd. near Bank Rd from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- The Colerain Fire Department will be performing live fire training in an acquired structure.

Training will consist of search and rescue techniques, hose advancements, and fire suppression.

Due to multiple pieces of apparatus and hoses, Hughes Road will be closed for through traffic.

Other traffic information: Mt. Adams road closure Saturday--The 22nd Annual Reindog Parade will be held this year on Dec. 8 in Mt. Adams. Voted “Best Family Event” in Cincinnati this parade will showcase our four legged friends as they march through the streets of Mt. Adams at 2 p.m.

As in the past, proceeds will benefit the S.P.C.A. of Cincinnati and adoption of puppies and adult dogs will be available. In order to accommodate this event St. Gregory Street will be closed from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.
