FLORENCE, Ky. - Two people are being treated for injuries after being ejected from their vehicles on Interstate 75 Saturday afternoon.
According to police, two vehicles were involved in an accident on Interstate 75 shortly after 12:40 p.m. Both people were transported by ambulance to an area hospital. The condition of the injured parties has not been released by police.
Southbound I-75 at the Mount Zion Road exit, mile marker 178, was shut down for several hours due to the accident. The roadway was fully reopened to traffic just after 6 p.m.
