Thousands of runners will take to the streets of downtown Cincinnati and Covington Saturday morning and that means roads will be affected.
Avoid anything south of 2nd Street, east of Gest Street, and west of I-471. Also, the Southgate Bridge and the Purple People Bridge will be shut down as runners make their way to and from 3rd Street in Covington.
Here are the run times when you can expect the feet to be on the street: 8:00 a.m. — Runners and Walkers for 10K and 5K (round 1) — *first 2,000 participants to register & elite runners
8:10 a.m. — Runners and walkers for 5K (round 2) — **remainder of 5K runners/
9:30 a.m. — One Mile Family Run
10:15 a.m. — Gapper's Kids Fun Run
