ERLANGER, Ky. - Northbound I-71/75 was shut down in Northern Kentucky due to a crash involving a semi Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12 p.m. at the 183 mile marker in Erlanger.
Officials on the scene say the crash involved a semi and a car.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene, prompting the temporary closure of all the northbound lanes. The southbound lanes were also backed up as drivers passed the scene of the crash.
Officials have not released how serious the injuries sustained in the accident are, or the identities of those injured.
