DEERFIELD TWP., Ohio - All lanes of northbound I-71 have reopened after a semi lost control and was hanging over the overpass at Mason-Montgomery Road.
The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. near Exit 19 at Mason-Montgomery Road/Fields Ertel Road.
Traffic in the area of the crash is moving normally after the roadway was shut down for more than an hour.
Mason-Montgomery Road below the highway has also reopened after being shut down in the southbound direction to keep the area below the dangling semi safe.
Emergency crews on the scene have moved the semi to tow it away. No injuries have been reported.
Initially the passenger side wheel of the semi's cab was dangling off of the overpass.
A fuel spill on I-71 as a result of the crash also caused issues, but crews were able to clean it up after several hours.
Road conditions remain slick across the Tri-State as a result of the winter weather. Drivers should use caution and allow plenty of space between vehicles.
