CINCINNATI - 9 News talks with Cheryl Parker from AAA about the holiday weekend gas prices and what typically happens following Labor Day weekend.

According to AAA gas prices in August jumped 30 cents in August and prices for the holiday weekend are the highest on record for Labor Day.

However Parker says prices typically drop after the holiday.  In fact, AAA reports that the average price for September over the last five years was $3.07.
