COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Ohioans are getting a bit more relief at the fuel pump as gas prices continue to fall along with oil prices.
The survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts Ohio's average price at $3.34 for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline. That's down 15 cents from the average of $3.49 a week ago but remains well above the price a year ago, when drivers were paying about $2.78.
Gas prices topped $4 earlier this year but have been decreasing for weeks. The price of crude oil fell last week after the International Energy Agency said it will make 60 million barrels available in a monthlong period. Some analysts believe the price decline is temporary.
