CINCINNATI - All lanes on Interstate 74 were shut down in both directions due to an accident and downed wires over the highway Monday evening.
The crash and the downed wires happened near the Colerain Avenue exit in Northside around 5:45 p.m. Monday.
Police say it is not clear if the incidents are related but traffic was at a standstill for more than three hours.
Authorities cleared the scene around 8:45 p.m. and the road is now open in both directions.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
