You don't need to go through breast cancer on your own. These support groups will offer guidance, advice and a shoulder to lean on.
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Cancer Family Care- This group for women and their families meets on the second Wednesday of the month in January, April, July and October. The meetings go from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cancer Family Care Center at 2421 Auburn Avenue in Cincinnati. Contact the group at 513-731-3346
First United Methodist Church- The Middletown church group meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 120 S. Broad St. Contact the group at 513-423-4629.
Mercy Hospital, Anderson- The support group at the Women’s Center at Anderson meets the first and third Mondays of the month. The groups begins at 7 p.m. at 7500 State Road in Anderson Township. To contact, call 513-624-4659.
Patterns Inc.- The support group meets the first Saturday of the month from noon until 2 p.m. Join the group at the Allen Temple Senior Center located at 7080 Reading Road. Contact Brenda Brown for more information at 513-542-3878.
St. Elizabeth Hospital- If women want to help eachother through breast cancer, this support group meets the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. The Cancer Care Center hosts the gathering at 1 Medical Village Drive in Edgewood, Ky. Contact the group at 859-301-2273.
The Lymph Connection- The support group meets two times a year in Northern Kentucky. While the time and location are still being determined, you can call 859-301-2273 for more details.
The Cancer Support Community- Those who have been newly diagnosed with breast cancer may want to try this suppor group which has several meetings. The group gets together from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Attend the group meeting located at 4918 Cooper Road in Blue Ash. Organizers ask that those interested call 513-791-4060 before attending.
The Cancer Support Community- Living with advanced breast cancer can be difficult, so this support group aims to help. The group meets the second Saturday of the month from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lynn Stern Center located at 4918 Cooper Road in Blue Ash. Contact 513-791-4060 for more details.
The Cancer Support Community- This support group helps you take cancer by “FORCE.” The FORCE group, which stands for Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, has not yet decided what day it will meet, but it will take place at the 4918 Cooper Road in Blue Ash. Call 513-791-4060 for more information.
