WCPO-TV has partnered with TriStateFootball.com to present the High School Football Player of the Week.

Each week 12-14 nominees will be selected from a large list of some of the area’s top performances and will be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner. The voting opens on Monday and ends each Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Voting is limited to one vote per day, per IP address. Networks may share a single IP, so please be aware of that while casting your vote. Once a player wins once, they will be ineligible to be nominated a second time.

All of the season winners will be recognized and receive a plaque at the TriStateFootball.com Year in Review shows in January.

Here are this week’s nominations:

Drew Barker, Conner – 112 yards and a TD through the air and 121 yards and two scores on ground in win over Ryle.

AJ Collins, Cooper – 31 carries for 159 yards and two touchdowns in district win over South Oldham.

KeShawn Foley, Batavia - Ran for 254 yards with five rushing touchdowns and added one more passing as Bulldogs topped Blanchester.

Tyrell Gilbert, Princeton – Ran for four touchdowns and threw for another as the Vikings picked up their first win of the year over Hamilton.

Dylan Hayes, NewCath – 15 carries for 173 yards, 330 total yards and four touchdowns in blowout of Lloyd.

Corey Hawk, Badin - Had 13 total tackles in the Rams upset over Chaminade-Julienne.

Connor Jansen, Turpin - Ran for 146 yards with four touchdowns on the ground and threw for 133 more in the Spartans win over rival Anderson.

Brenen Kuntz, Simon Kenton – Threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Boone County.

Marc McGeorge, Elder - Recorded 10 total tackles as Elder knocked off Moeller.

Greg Simpson, Sycamore – 23 carries for 196 yards and three touchdowns in big GMC win over Sycamore.

Jackson Sorn, Colerain – Carried the ball just 11 times, but finished with 126 yards and three touchdowns as the Cardinals rolled past Middletown.

Maurice Thomas, Talawanda - Ran for 231 yards and three scores as the Braves broke a 19 game losing streak by beating Little Miami.
