Elder senior Marc McGeorge was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 7, picking up 880 votes (32.29 percent).
The Panthers’ linebacker earned his nomination by coming up with 10 total tackles in Elder’s hug win at Moeller.
Talawanda’s Maurice Thomas and Corey Hawk of Badin finished second and third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com . In total, 12 players were nominated with 2,725 votes casted.
Voting will open on Monday morning for Week 8’s nominations.
