Collins voted Tri-State high school football Player of the Week

Cooper senior AJ Collins was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 12, picking up 892 votes (27 percent).

The Jaguars’ running back/linebacker earned his nomination by rushing for 263 yards and a four touchdowns in the team’s regional semi-final win over South Oldham.

CovCath’s Blake Bir and Jackson Sorn of Colerain finished second and third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with 3,266 votes casted.
