The newly formed Southwestern Ohio Conference (SWOC) is making a big splash in the Week 3 Rankings as they have four teams in the Top 10.

There will be no more beating up on the “little sisters of the poor” from here on out for the SWOC.

Now is the time to put up or shut up for the league. One thing is for certain, the conference is aligning itself up nicely for a nice showing in November at this point.

Here are the latest TriStateFootball.com Ohio DII-III Rankings:

1. Trotwood-Madison (1-1)
How they fared:
Looking Ahead: The Rams will head to Heidkamp Stadium to take on rival Wayne and the loser will sit at an uncomfortable 1-2.

2. Turpin (2-0)
How they fared: The banged up Spartans pull out a huge road win at Wyoming.
Looking Ahead: Turpin will host undefeated local rival McNicholas on Friday.

3. Alter (2-0)
How they fared: Knights football found the passing game much to their liking for a second straight week as they beat Guerin Catholic.
Looking Ahead: Napoleon and their 53 points per game heads south to square off with Alter.

4. Northwest (2-0)
How they fared: Amelia was no match for the bigger faster and stronger Knights.
Looking Ahead: Northwest gets their first real test with perennial Region 8 playoff power Tecumseh heading to town.

5. Winton Woods (1-1))
How they fared: Warriors show big heart in knocking of Division I, Lakota East.
Looking Ahead: Ex-head coach Troy Everhart and his Middletown squad invade Charlie Fredrick Stadium on Friday night.

6. Kings (0-2)
How they fared: For a second straight week the Knights can’t close the deal as they lose at home to Piqua.
Looking Ahead: The first road game for Kings will see them take on a Harrison squad that always gives them fits.

7. Franklin (2-0)
How they fared: It was another fine showing by Franklin as they beat West Carrollton, 45-17.
Looking Ahead: The Wildcats hit the road an head to Miamisburg to face the only Division I team on their schedule.

8. Wilmington (2-0)
How they fared: The Canes escaped with a 20-14 win over Washington Courthouse.
Looking Ahead: A road tilt at Hillsboro should see this team come back unblemished.

9. Mount Healthy (2-0)
How they fared: A second straight victory over a Division IV school as Mount Healthy toppled Fenwick.
Looking Ahead: Owls face another foe with the Falcon as a mascot when Aiken comes calling.

10. Edgewood (2-0)
How they fared: Back-to-back 50-point outburst by the Cougars get them to 2-0 in impressive fashion.
Looking Ahead: A tilt with undefeated Division IV, Badin could end up being a huge Harbin points win down the road.
