The NCAA Tournament bracket was released on Sunday, and Miami will play the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in the first round in Bridgeport, Conn.

Should the RedHawks win that game, they would play the Union-Michigan State winner.

Miami, which is a No. 2 seed in its region and fifth overall, will play UMass-Lowell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, and the regional final will be at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

UMass-Lowell lost in its best-of-3 series vs. Providence in the Hockey East Tournament. The Rivermen are eighth in the NCAA in goals scored per game, averaging 3.33.
