An Australian Olympic swimmer is in hot water this week after posting a photo of herself in a bikini on her Twitter account.
Stephanie Rice, who won three gold medals at the 2008 Olympics, can be seen taking the picture of herself while standing in a bathroom.
She is wearing a black and white suit and said in her tweet , “Thankyou to the gorgeous @elliegonsalves for my birthday @veveswimwear bikini.”
Some think the image is a disgrace to the Australian swim team and others were concerned Speedo, Rice’s sponsor, wouldn’t approve of the move, according to the article on Yahoo.com .
However, Speedo is reportedly no longer her sponsor.
Rice is set to compete in the London Olympics this summer.
Do you think her photo is too racy? Or is it not a big deal for a swimmer to be seen in a bikini? Let us know by leaving a comment!
