CINCINNATI - The Walton-Verona Bearcats picked up their fourth straight win and completed a sweep inside district play by knocking off the Trimble County Raiders, 62-7.

Walton-Verona (6-2, 4-0) dominated the game from the outset as they built a 49-0 halftime lead.

Chris Latimore ran for three touchdowns and caught another to pace the Bearcats attack. Logan Foley ran for a score and added another through the air all in the first half of action.

Trimble County (2-6, 1-2) got their only points of the night when TJ Payton ran for a 5-yard TD on the game’s final score. The Wildcats are now allowing 34.8 points per game and have allowed 40 or more points five times on the season.

Walton-Verona welcomes Bishop Brossart to town next week for Senior Night while Trimble County returns home to face Carroll County.
