DAYTON, Ohio - DAYTON, Ohio – DJ Wingfield scored a team-high 19 points Saturday afternoon to help Walnut Hills to a 68-54 victory over Centerville in a Division I boys’ district championship game at UD Arena.

The Eagles will take on Springboro in a regional playoff game at Cintas Center March 13 at 8 p.m.

Walnut Hills played clean basketball all game, shooting nearly 58 percent (26-for-45) from the floor and turning over the ball only 11 times. The scrappy bunch also had 10 offensive rebounds on only 19 missed shots.

Isaiah Johnson led the Eagles with a team-high eight rebounds and pitched in 15 points. Adam Brown went 5 of 6 from the field and hit Walnut Hills’ lone 3-pointer to finish with 11 points off the bench.
