CINCINNATI - There have been a few premier matchups each week so far this high school season, but Week 5 is simply loaded.
NORTH COLLEGE HILL AT SUMMIT COUNTRY DAY: The Knights of SCD are 4-0 and have started to develop consistency in the program. Summit has been to the playoffs the past two seasons. To win again, the Knights will have to contain North College Hill's Tevin Brown who rushed for 329 yards against New Miami last week.
WILMINGTON AT NORTHWEST: It's the first time Northwest has started the season with a 4-0 record. They're led by junior quarterback Cory Roberson, who has accounted for 13 touchdowns. Wilmington has a 3-1 record.
COLERAIN AT SYCAMORE: Both the Cardinals and the Aviators have 4-0 records overall, and 1-0 in the Greater Miami Conference. Something has to give. Sycamore features running back Greg Simpson, who rushed for 191 yards against Hamilton last week. No runner has rushed for more than 78 yards against Colerain.
MOELLER AT ST. XAVIER: The Crusaders are 4-0, while the Bombers are 2-2. Last year, Moeller won this matchup during the regular season, while St. X claimed the win in the playoffs.
COVINGTON CATHOLIC AT HIGHLANDS: Great offense against great defense in this matchup. The Bluebirds average 56 points a game. The CovCath defense has posted three shutouts.
