CINCINNATI - It wasn't much of a match in Wednesday's season opener between Mount Healthy Owls and North College Hill Trojans.
The Owls shut out the Trojans at Colerain 44-0 in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown.
By clicking on the attached video, you'll see North College Hill Coach Bruce Baarendsee talking to his team just prior to the kickoff.
His team just couldn't get untracked on offense. Quarterback Jalen Young was dropped for a big loss in the early moments by Mt. Healthy's Jordan Lackey.
Mount Healthy didn't waste any time in getting in front. Leon Currie-Davis took a handoff and ran it down to the North College Hill two-yard line.
Tyrone Elliot then finished the drive with a short touchdown plunge. The Owls never looked back.
