DAYTON, Ohio -- Jeffrey and Jeremy Larkin combined for 22 points Saturday afternoon to help LaSalle to a 59-43 victory over Wayne in a Division I boys' district title game at UD Arena.
The Lancers (19-7), who’ve won their last 10 games in a row, advance to take on Colerain March 13 at 6:15 at Cintas Center. LaSalle has held its opponents under 50 points in each game during the streak.
The Lancers shot just 30 percent (6-for-20) during the second half but compensated for their struggles from the floor by converting 19 of 27 free-throw attempts during the third and fourth quarters.
LaSalle shot 52.4 percent (11-for-21) and connected on 3 of 10 of 3-point field goals during the first half.
Connor Speed led the Lancers with a team-high 16 points and Blake Simpson finished with seven points despite taking only shot by going 5 of 6 from the line. Simpson also finished with eight rebounds.
Eric Southers provided 10 points in just 15 minutes of work off the bench for LaSalle.
