BLUE ASH, Ohio - The Sycamore Lady Aves defeat Lakota West 68-52 for the second time this season and improve to 16-1 (10-1 GMC) with three games to go before February playoff action begins. They sit all alone on top of the Greater Miami Conference.

This is Sycamores 14th straight win and the Firebirds first loss after winning three straight.

Sycamore was led by senior guard Chloe Pavlech's 19 points going 5 for 7 from three point range. Alexis Newbolt chipped in with 18 points and junior center Hannah Locke came off the bench with 11 rebounds, her second highest total of the season.

Lakota Wests Adrianna McNeal led the Firebirds with 14 off the bench as they slip to 9-7 (5-6 GMC). Lauren Cannatelli and Emily Niehaus each had 11.

Sycamore next hosts Colerain February 1 and Lakota West hosts Lakota East the same night in the battle of West Chester.
