The number of teams playing football in Kentucky was cut in half this past weekend with the cream starting to rise to the top.
Several teams from Northern Kentucky are still battling it out with dreams of playing in Bowling Green on the season’s final weekend of action, including a pair of defending champions in Highlands and Holy Cross.
Here’s a quick glance at the games on the slate in the week ahead in the Bluegrass State:
