FRANKFORT, Ky. - Jake Burger hit a three-point shot with as the buzzer sounded, giving the Holy Cross Indians the boys championship of the Touchstone Energy All "A" Classic in Frankfort Sunday afternoon 52-51.
Anthony Myrks had scored, giving Bardstown a two point lead in the final seconds of the game. But Holy Cross was able to throw the ball inbounds and Burger hit the game-winner.
It completed a furious comeback by the Indians. They had trailed by 12 points after three quarters.
Burger led all scorers with 18 points. Antonio Campbell added 12 for Holy Cross.
Bardstown was led by Myrks with 17 points. Jordan Brewer added 13.
Burger was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. His teammates, Antonio Campbell, Jared Fortner and Travis Thompson were also named to the All Tournament team.
